About this event

Poverty can act as a trap, restricting choices and opportunities and preventing people from moving toward a stable financial future. For many, COVID-19 has resulted in increased financial pressure allowing poverty to tighten its grip.

Please join us for a series of presentations to find out exactly how you can help your clients and service users to access local services and sources of support to help loosen the chains and break free of a cycle of poverty and deprivation. You will hear about:

  • A brand new financial toolkit, designed to act as a desk aid for professionals to help your clients access the best support for their circumstances
  • Information on grants and one off payments to help households struggling through hard times
  • The Fast Online Referral Tracking system (FORT), a powerful tool to help you make effective referrals for your clients with ease
  • How to frame the way we speak about poverty and its impact to help your clients better engage with support services

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions with a live Q&A throughout the webinar.

Let's come together during Challenge Poverty Week to find out more about the issues facing your clients today and how we can all work together to take action for change.
